Award Time!
In the past few weeks, my blog has been selected for several awards. I truly appreciate and treasure each one. Tonight, I’d like to thank three of the bloggers who have awarded me. There are three more that I will post about later this week.
I remember when I first started my blog. I was lucky to get 2 or 3 visitors a day, and I was starting to think, “Why bother, no one is reading my blog anyway.” Then, I received a mysterious email saying I had an award and that I needed to visit this site to receive it. I thought it was a joke or a spam email, and I almost didn’t go to the site. Cautiously, I clicked the link, and to my surprise I saw that I had received the Proximidade Award from Roxie at Recovery from Addiction! That award made me feel so good, and it really gave me encouragement at a time when I needed it most.
Some of the awards I already received and posted about just last month, so I will link back so you can see my original post. For the new awards that I will post about later this week, I will try to select some really good blogs that are new or have not received a lot of awards. Hopefully this will send some encouragement to someone else who needs like I did.
I hope you will check out the blogs below. They are really great and fun to visit!

I received the Coffee Luv’n Valentine Award on February 14 from chameleonsdream at Coffee Break. This was a nice, relaxing award because all I had to do was pour a cup of coffee and relax for 10 minutes.

On February 17, I was “Tagged” by Roz at Life in Australia. See my post with my unusual facts about myself and the blogs I tagged.

On February 21, I was given the Life is Grand award by The Single Frugalton. See my post for this award.
Thank you!!!

Congratulations on all of the awards! You certainly deserve them. I know exactly what you mean about the encouragement receiving an award gives you.
I could see you were a really good writer with a story to tell and you’d be a great blogger. I was right.
Congrats on all your awards!
Thank you for being one of the Top Ten Ecard droppers on Recovery Rocks! in February, 2009.
